S1, sounds like you lost what you thought, should be your inheritance! Grandma and grandpa leave everything to the church?

I have often wondered where Adam and Eve fit in along the evolutionary path. Were they Cro Magnon or some other post-ape-like beings? I can't believe that a benevolent creator would base original sin on the actions of an ape-like creature.
Also, I have long been troubled by the obvious incest that went on after Adam and Eve.

And a priest's response to you question would be "Don't worry, God works in mysterious ways". LMAO

Twista I think you should read the bible and form your own opinions rather than have another person tell you how to interpret things ; ) I agree with you 100%! Do not take man's interpretation of anything...you need to seek it out yourself

Do you mean that everything thought of or written about God by mankind is meaningless?

Is it "bashing" to answer JOB's post with what a priest would tell him in response to his query? Hardly not. I just gave him the answer I have heard myself from several priests, in response to a question.

You got "issues" with anything and anyone to do with the Catholic Church. Can you be honest, for once?

Ask your priest the question job posed. Or a similar one and the answer will invariably be, "God works in mysterious ways". Standard cop-out for Catholic priest.
As for me disparaging priests, I believe they have done a good enough job of that themselves with their love of little boys. Didn't the pope's main policy guy on pedophilia just get in trouble himself recently? Homosexuality and raping little boys has been prevalent in the Church's history for 1500 years and will not stop til serious changes are made

Please expect to be challenged on it when you do so. It in no way descibes the greator majority of priests.

Weak response as usual. Refusing to address the issue of priests not answering questions about scripture and calling names. Par for the course for you.

Where did that come from? All priests don't answer questions like you say. I came up grades k-12 under Dominicans. I never had your experiences, but I do recognize your quips as trite cliches concerning Catholic priests and nuns.

So the dozen or so priests that responded as I said(including 2 St Anthony's priests and 1 St Mary's) are all figments of my imagination? Or all the other folks who have told me the same?

Could you find Fr Fritz's phone number for me? I can 3-way call him and you can listen in.
