If God had written the Bible , SHE would have done a much better job. The Bible was conspired by the early leaders of the Catholic Church. Some important information was obviously omitted or it would make better sense.

"The books of the bible are written by those who had contact and experiences with Jesus. They wrote of what Jesus told them and what happened when he was here." -HippyCowgirl
Actually, a lot of the New Testament books are authored by a man he never met Jesus.

One thing to remember, all religions were written by humans with the mentality of the time period and a very big imagination.

I believe Paul authored Acts and Luke, maybe a couple more. I know there may be a slight majority of scholars who would disagree and say Luke authored those books.
While we're on the matter of Paul/Saul/Saulus, I believe he hi-jacked some of what Jesus taught. Even the NT mentions Paul getting in trouble for preaching messages contrary to Jesus's teachings.

I'd be interested in knowing the source(s) from which you declare that you believe Paul wrote Acts and the Gospel of Luke. I know of no scholars that have agreed with that view. Edify me.

All books of the NT, have no proven authors. Any attempt to establish authorship is simply a hypothesis.

You're ducking my question, ("I'd be interested in knowing the source(s) from which you declare that you believe Paul wrote Acts and the Gospel of Luke.") which isn't surprising...given your assertion. There are a great deal of differing opinions about EVERYTHING surrounding Jesus. Where did your opinion about the question above come from? I've never come across it.

Not ducking anything. As I said above, no NT books have any PROVEN authors. So for me to mention half a dozen books that I've read, that postulate that Paul wrote certain books, would not serve any purpose. From past experience, I know all you will do is rip my source material.
Half of the books in your list above, have debate over whether Paul authored them, which I sure you're aware of.

Just curious...half a dozen books, huh? I'm very much into Gnostic material and anything at all written about early Christian thought. Many of the most well known Biblical scholars and many, many fly-by-night dilettantes postulate all kinds of stuff. For a boring guy like me, they're a fun read.
