Oh, and good meteorologists don't go by just one model, they incorporate current scientific & past historical data.

Oh, and good meteorologists don't go by just one model, they incorporate current scientific & past historical data. And as the years go by, each year adds a new set of data to be entered into the equation as to what constitutes the norms for highs and lows and precipitation amounts and averages for the year or season. One thing is for sure, you will never convince everybody of anything. Some like it hot, some like it cold, some like it in the pot nine days old.

Call it whatever you want, every where you go now is pretty much catered to be a certain temperature and most of us just are not used to extreme temperatures anymore. When it hits 70 in the fall the pants start coming out, when it hits 60 in the spring the shorts come out. I work outside occasionally and you gotta dress for it, but there is definitely a temperature you just don't want to be out in. I hear it from older guys all the time, once you get so cold you feel it in your bones, it never seems to go away and you feel it every time there after.

And then you'll see the "cool" ones walking around this weather wearing shorts. Go figure. After thinking about this, cool is the wrong word, this is the "dope" generation. It is just so dope to wear shorts in sub zero weather.

Why they keep wearing summer clothes year round.

Why they keep wearing summer clothes year round. Some of them can’t find clothes that fit.You can acclimate yourself to a point if you work at it to not need warm clothes until it is totally bitter out though.Remember that show with the Army vet and the hippy who wore shorts in the snowy wilderness.A few other guys have lived in the wilderness the same way so it is possible until you get into zero and below which is not good for man nor beast.
