I hate mustard. I've always gotten extra ketchup on my sandwiches at bulldogs, and I've never tasted a hint of mustard.
In August one of their specials was a burger with provolone and peppers. It was yummy.
Jax's Bar n Grille has a great blue cheese burger.

I have heard so much about Trapp's beef sandwichs. I gotta get me one. When buying for > than 1, (It can get expensive & they're small, 2 per person) if you don't mind doing it, they sell the beef & juice frozen. Stop by the store for some buns & them micro-wave it to make sammiches. I did it a lil @ a time, so the middle was still frozen & put it back in the freezer for later. I ended up getting 8 out of about 1/2 of it. BTW dd, I was out & about tonite so I stopped @ Broadway to try their tenderloin. It was good, but about the same as a polanchis. Chef Toms/Smittys are still my fav #1/#2. I loved the pasta salad tho.

Thanks for the head up on the beef sammiches. I am pretty sure Carol (B-Way Tap),uses polancic's tenderloins. She does a good job of cooking them. I agree that her salads & coleslaw and great and they are homemade. I have had Smitty's and they are just HUGE! Never got a chance to taste Chef Tom's. I did hear from a lot of people that they were very good.

The difference between them is, cook / Chef anyone can be a cook, however a chef is a whole other level.

ONE of Smitty's Tenderloins can be cut into wedges like a pizza to feed a family of 4 easily w/added sides.
Unfortunately hubby doesn't like Tenderloins, I do.
I've brought leftovers home, remove the soggy bun, cut it with a pizza cutter & add whatever toppings I like.
2 - 3 days dinner from 1 ordered out meal. (I DON'T eat French fries)
We do this quite frequently. The Older we get the Less tolerant we've gotten to; HOT (spicy) & SAVORY (Rosemary, Italian seasoning, Thyme, Sage, etc. seasonings) Salt & Pepper, most ALL seasonings. Always order our salads with the dressing on the side, dip our fork into the dressing prior to the salad with each bite. (Learned from Weight Watchers YEARS ago)
For ALL of those Young'ns out there..... Once their Taste buds ARE BURNT Out from OVER HEAT (SPICY;) will they turn the other way as I have; Nothing or SATISFIED W/ fruit, OR... Will they turn to SWEETS?
Unfortunately; hubby HAS to HAVE his " SWEETS " Nightly.
I only purchase LOW SODIUM Veggies if fresh or frozen unavailable; Tomato products, Chicken & Beef Stock, Soups, Low Sodium etc. IF NOT; Everything IS OVER salty to our pallets.
MSG; ... INSTANT MIGRAINE HEADACHE, RACING PULSE, FEEL LIKE CRAPPP ... BOTH of us ! (I wonder how many people walk out of Chinese Rest. FELLING ILL; clueless?)
I was raised; a Meat Cutters daughter, Mom home & made every meal, Liver was called "steak", didn't leave the table until warm glass of milk was empty, plate appeared we Gave it our BEST. etc.
Drive up window food; was NOT an option for MY family as a child. I had NO Idea what a Steak & Shake meal tasted like until I was in High School.
NOW; the VARIETIES are ENDLESS ! ! !

The Congregation of Benedictine Sisters in Boerne, Texas have filed a shareholder proposal asking McDonald's to reduce antibiotics used in its beef and pork as it has done already with its chicken.

Someone had mentioned errors in their orders. I recently went through the drive thru, and was missing a sandwich. I drove back through, and told them at the speaker. There was a line, and when I got to the first window, they handed me a brown paper bag. I laughed to myself, thinking about past posts on here. One of which inferred that they dealt drugs out of the drive thru, because a poster had seen someone pull up to the first (pay) window, and get handed a small paper bag. They also frequently give small orders at that window, when there are long lines, too keep it moving. I laugh every time they do that. Lol

When I drive thru there and just order a drink, I frequently get it handed to me at the first window. Now I'm not saying it's alcoholic but I'm not saying it's not either. Hahahahaha

There's a McDonald's in Germany that serves beer. They're known for being a kid's place in America though.

Didn't McDonald's recently announce they were going to go to cage free birds for their eggs? With the terminology/labeling on the market now, cage-free, organic, (there's several kinds) bills being fought for labeling & being denied/beaten, they'll get around it! It's the big Corps., like McDs that are paying TO keep the public confused about the labeling.

according to the latest laws free range chickens have to be chickens that are not locked in a cage all day. many of the chicken producers in Illinois are considered free range.
