No use in letting others on here know, they will just degrade you. They rather live the fantasy that all is good. What are you talking about? I really don't care if they degrade me or not. Everyone has the right to speak their minds. Whether I like it or not. Or even if you like it or not. I also know the few that will degrade me on here, do not have the nerve to degrade me face to face, anyways. Also, if any posters don't like what I post, they do not have to respond to what I post, and it also works the other way. So, what is your point? You don't like that I post something that I read in the paper?

The only thing bad about what you posted is they don't address the jobs that are added because consumers can now spend that money in another facet of the economy.
Low oil prices do not hurt the overall jobs picture unless that extra money gets taken up on non-productive items, such as increased taxes.

Intrinsically I don't mind Tariffs, unless said Tariffs allow an out of control Fed. to continue to spend in a fashion that drunken Sailors object to.
Kind of like how the Lottery was gong to fund education, or the twice approved "special" 1/2 cent extra tax on gasoline was going to improve Streator roads.........

Gas tax if it looks like oil prices will stay low..The gov. will tap it one way or another. Kinda like sending your virgin daughter on a trip with the Clintons..

Low energy prices can only be good for the economy. Think of the alternative......

The United States will soon be the world’s largest oil producer, thanks to innovative new extraction technologies that have revitalized previously dormant wells and also led to a shale gas and oil boom.-Forbes We are at 1973 levels of importing oil now. Aprx 30 to 35%. We have come a long ways in the last few years, but the Saudis and OPEC are pumping oil like all get out to undercut our new ability toward independence from their oil.
