Yes and I told her. She said it was probably the male chef. Says he can cook a steak any which way.

Went there about a week ago, & got a tenderloin with fries. The tenderloin was bigger than my face!! The menu says the only way they do tenderloins is the Oogie way. I was stuffed to the extreme from it, & the taste was delicious!! The french fries were similar style to B&R Cafe's & Bowl More Lanes--which are the wavy kind which happen to be my favorite style. Finally, we had toasted ravioli for an appetizer--just simply amazing. Was very satisfied & hope to be back soon, & to try dinner.

Oh God we had a family dinner tonight at Satches, and it SUCKED!!!! First of all we had reservations for 12 people at 6 pm, got seated at about 6:20...and were finally all being served our meal at 8!!! WTH!?!?! Those that ordered the soup said it was warm, if not totally cold. Soups of the day were Cream of Potato, and Wisconsin Cheddar...two got the wrong soup too as well. Three of us got chicken and it was hard as a rock, way overcooked, and very hard to cut into, and yes also cold too as well. Two steaks were very tough, and all of the pasta was cold, and with canned sauce with fake meat in it. The bread when the waitress finally did bring it was cold too as well....how do you put cold butter on cold bread, it doesn't melt!!! People that had gotten in there after us, got served way before we did, who I did happen to know one of the couples...they came over to talk to me when they were leaving and said their dinner was very good. My sister in law who had a Filet Mignon it was sooooooo tough that she sent it back, in which they were suppose to fix her a new steak to eat...and it ended up coming out in a styrofoam take-out container when we all were done eating, AFTER!!! Then they wanted her to cut that one open to SEE if it was ok that time! She was like "I'm not going to cut that steak until I do eat it, which I intended on doing so with my family, NOT now!" My husband at that point got soooooooooooo pi$$ed off ....that him and another brother in law went and sat up at the bar. French fries were cold that two had gotten, one got a tenderloin which she was never given any ketchup or mustard brought to the table...they borrowed the next tables condiments. No steak sauce was ever offered along with the ketchup or mustard for the tenderloin, and fries that were ordered. I really had my heart set on some type of seafood..whether it was lobster, red snapper or broiled cod. They did have the broiled cod on their menu...but I was told they didn't have any though tonight, and were out of it. Unfortunately the general conscientious of the family was that we will never come back there again for any family meal. My husband will never take me back there again, I know this. Seriously I don't think they are equipped to handle big parties of people...perhaps if you do go there to eat..my advise would be to go AFTER 7:30, and only go with a couple of people. Another couple with their son next to us, the dad had ordered a hot beef sandwich which he said was tough and had a very hard time even biting, let alone cutting into to eat. And, there was a whole group of the Post Office girls out for a dinner meeting, which I know them all quite well and I went over to talk to them. Some said their meal was very good, one who had chicken said it was overcooked and hard, and one told me their steak was too overdone. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO it wasn't just us. I don't know if they were running short staffed and didn't expect such a turn-out for a Tuesday night...but still. I am so bummed .................. we all thought it was going to be so much better then this experience!!! M

Sorry you had such a bad time of it MnM. I didn't want to say a bunch of negative stuff. We went there a week or two ago. The food was good. It was just the two of us at our table and our service was really poor. We had at least 3 tables seated after us that got their order in before us. We were kind of hungry and had ordered an appetizer. We made sure we got that in with our drink order. Well the Appetizer came out before she even took our order. There were at least 3 waitresses and about 12 tables, so no more than 4 tables/girl....entirely manageable. The food was good that we were served, it just took the better part of 2 hours for pasta and chicken for a party of 2 when it was not all that crowded. Our bad experience is mostly just due to one ill prepared/trained server. I hope it is just growing pains and they work out the kinks. We'll be back, it may be a little while, but we'll be back. Well BD, I didn't want to be saying negative things here either too then as well...but the truth does need to be known so that management can fix the problems, and then they therefore can BE successful then. So it took two hours for you and your wife to get your food too, that is ridiculous! I am truly bummed............................... M
