I was disappointed in Bullpin. I could not find the meat, on my sandwich. It was tasty, but not at all worth the price. Satch's packed all weekend. I asked how many complaints and she said very few. No reservations for less than 4. Had one complaint about a steak. As for the wait, the comment, was 'it is worth the wait', if you want good food.

Thats too bad. I order out a lot, so its great to have selection. Bullpen offers a different twist on the same old same old menu. Ive only ordered a sandwich once, but i took my other half for lunch the following day. I like the sweet potato casserole.
Im sure i will love satch's food, once i get the opportunity to try them.

I absolutely love The Bullpen Burger, & I LOVE their french fries---that seasoning they put on them is amazing!! Satch's--as I mentioned before---Tenderloin was bigger than my face!! Their fries are good too, but in a different way than from The Bullpen's--Satch's uses the wavy kind that Bowl-Mor & B&R Cafe uses; which happen to by my fav,
Still need to try Satch's dinner, only had their lunch

I've had great food from Bull Pens & love the S. Pot Casserole too! I agree, it's nice change up from other menus.

Btw, has anyone tried the Corn Fritters yet--if so, are they like the original ones?

My guy took me to Satch's tonight for dinner. We enjoyed ourselves. We went fairly early to avoid the crowds and wait. The tables that were empty when we arrived were all full by the time we got our food. Which was in a very timely manner. Our spaghetti sauce was homemade, with real meat in it

Haven't been over there to go to any of them though in along time. Annie's Hideaway does have excellent food though. I do miss Captain Jack's, great chicken! I did though manage to acquire that "secret" chicken breading recipe...lol. Didn't Captain Jack's open up though over in Ottawa right next to Save Alot, is that still there? M

M A few years back, I was driving through Naplate and spotted Captain Jacks. Because I worked at the Drain Tile with Jack long before he became Captain Jack, I stopped in to see him. I discovered that Jack had sold the place years earlier.

We drove by one time, but they were full. We have been to the Hideaway many times. Luckily we eat late when they are a little bit less packed. Always had a good meal there, but you have to watch the owner. He likes to give little chocolate or peppermint treats to the ladies at the table. . I also remember big breasts at Capn Jacks too
