Omg...last month i stopped at burger king at wenona exit on my way home from work. I was starving. I ordered 2 sandiches, onion rings n drink. I ate the rings first, and was almost home before grabbing one of the sandwiches. Took a bite that was loaded with condiments. Second bite had less, and more bun. And a funky taste. I pulled up to 4 corners and opened sandwiches, and buns were covered with mold. It was disgusting! Gah!

I just talked to the boss man in Pontiac. He said they closed because they couldn't get "good help" in Streator. Had to fire 27 people over all since they opened.

A friend of mine worked there for a while. He didn't like it but gave no details.

The first week or so, he told me the same thing. Poor work ethic! Folks showed up one day,and not the next. How sad!

I call BS.....
Seems odd that 27 employees didnt work out for this 1 business....
I will say from 1st hand knowledge that when my teenage daughter was looking for a job during this time and I asked a couple waitresses/counter help about the job and EVERY one of them told me to tell her to stay away and look some place else....right there tells me enough.....

that is why we need to increase minimum wages in this state. its easier to get quality help when you are willing to pay for it.

And it's not always the money involved, plenty of politics also at most places.

He promised one guy a certain amount of money per week to cook for him then expected 60-70 hours. He ran his help and customers off.
