Ok....let's show a little courtesy to our latest addition to streator cuisine by not referring to them as that taco place...which they are not. And by the way, let me say "welcome to streator".
Have been there already and I will be returning. Great food, Great prices.

Went there today, & got a Chili Burger & Fries---very good!!
Any word if they are going to use the Mini Golf--I'm sure now that its starting to be cooler out, it may not be one of their top priorities--there are also many other menu items I still really want to try, & definitely plan on trying them!!
Gotta say, when I was inside--just wasn't the same without Jaenicke there.

I went by about 6pm or so to try the food & they must have been busy as they weren't taking any more orders due to being out of food!

I went by about 1:30 and it was closed. When I go out there, I am going to suggest that they add homemade root beer. Always loved the stuff Woodys and Janeickes had.

Well, they will know how much food too order on the next purchase, being they just opened, they had no idea, kudos too them for being that busy! hope some will not hold it against them and keep going back. Kind of like a practice run, I can understand.

I usually wait for them to get the kinks out before I go.

Its to bad they ran out of food, I guess it shows what can happen if a place has different food and pricing that is affordable. I hope Streator and the surrounding area continues their support.

I usually wait to try New Place's just because it is very easy for them to get bombarded early on, and have glitches that can and will happen, then folk's are negative about their experience.

Not just a practice run. Whenever someplace opens most people are anxious to try it. That's no surprise, it's human nature. The bad part is that most places are not ready for that kind of rush when they are just opening their doors. They aren't staffed for it and they aren't ready for it and sometimes consumers get disappointed. In all fairness to any place just starting, please don't have too high of expectations when they first open to large crowds. They will have shortages, perhaps extensive waits or perhaps botched orders. Everything you said is what I meant as a practice run, I figured I didn't need to go into details.

I usually like to try a place within the first week then wait a couple of weeks and try it again, I expect there to be a wait or some issues. I never hold that against a place the first time I try it. I have now been to HB twice and had no isssues either time, although I wasnt a fan of the Italian combo it wasnt a quality issue, it was a preferance issue, I now know how they serve it so next time I order I know what to have added to it so its what I like.
