And i wouldn't wait 20 min for drinks when the server was in the dining room. We didn't wait...We finished up the food that we had, and we left...When we did manage to get her attention, it was "they're cutting your lemon for your tea", so why bother?...Some things just aren't worth it...The server found the other customers more important, her co-workers seemed to care less, my $$$ is better spent elsewhere...It's not on the customers to insure good service and if their employees cannot manage to provide it, then they will continue to lose business...

I work out of town, and order out a lot. For delivery, there's an extra charge for each item you order. So, pizza hut adding a one charge only, for the entire order, doesnt bother me at all. Anyplace that has takeout factors in the container, pay for help, etc charge in somewhere. Some do it in the prices of ALL meals, eat in, take out, and some just factor it in to the take out meals. You're still paying for it. Granted, I KNOW they charge for the containers etc. It's usually $0.50 more around here & some even have a minimun $ amnt. TO deliver. Now, why would it be a "Double-Charge" ... comparing it to take-out being picked up by the customer, knowing it's already "built-in?"

May I ask; Where does your Information come from to support;
" they charge you for delivery & DON'T give it to the drivers! " Wouldn't this be " Illegal " to advertise " Delivery Fee " ...... If this is not what the " fee" is for ? Are there Taxes on Delivery Fees ? .... If so, at what rate? This is something I've never thought about. Streator has quite an a ray of Pizza / Italian style food restaurants that deliver. One in particular stands out, not only due to their food; their delivery service is always pleasant. PLANET PIZZA, I ACTUALLY .....IMO; " T H E BEST Streator.. HAS ! ALL Weather conditions. I'm grateful due to my days spent in the the kitchen have clearly dwindled. There are two establishments in particular we really enjoy Pizza and Pasta dishes, both hubby and I actually agree

After asking the driver, PERSONALLY, I called PH to affim it & was told the same thing, PERSONALLY, per a phone call to the Mngr. She wouldn't "elaberate" as to why, when I asked. I don't know if it's illegal, & no, there's no taxes on del. fees.

I know at one time the $3 delivery fee from Pizza Hut was split 50/50 between company and driver. I know because if you used the drive up window at that time they had a paper taped to pop cooler inside stating their policy. It was easy to read from the car.
