It's good marketing on their part. They have to Fonda way to get people in. Pizza and a movie special. That may also be the way movie theaters exist. Serve food in the theater,

Kyle would know more about this than I do, but I felt you paid for the movie costs when you pay admission to the theater. Profits and overhead come from the concession stand.

We also watch UTUBE on the blu-ray. Has most of our DVD pix, plus old tv quiz show like "What's My Line?". Most of all, we have "discovered" pix that were made long before we were born on TCM. Now that is a great channel! Plus! No commercials! Thank You, Ted Turner.! I, just love TMC. We have another new movie channel, called GET TV. Saw some oldies the other day, I have never seen on TCM. It does have commercials, tho.

Serve food in the theater, As I recall, that was what someone wanted to do with the old "Rudy's" grocery store out north before they tore the place down. I think they had even started work on the inside before the deal finally fell through. On another note, as for Marcos pizza, I have never had it before. BUT, I will formally declare that about a month ago I finally took the cure for eating at Pizza Hut. Went in there for the lunch buffet and it was absolutely without a doubt the most horrible pizza/buffet I have ever had and NOTHING could ever make me go into that establishment again!

I don't care for thier pizza either.
Even more, I don't like that they charge you for delivety & DON'T give it to the drivers! They have nothing more invested, than the box it comes in! The drivers use thier own vehicles & pay for gas, ins., wear & tear etc....

I work out of town, and order out a lot. For delivery, there's an extra charge for each item you order. So, pizza hut adding a one charge only, for the entire order, doesnt bother me at all. Anyplace that has takeout factors in the container, pay for help, etc charge in somewhere. Some do it in the prices of ALL meals, eat in, take out, and some just factor it in to the take out meals. You're still paying for it.

Interesting Otto. Care to elaborate? Poor Quality? Made you sick? Unclean? Rude help? What exactly turned you off so badly? I'll be happy to elaborate....Was in there with my wife and daughter for the lunch buffet and the pizza seemed old. Not as in it had been sitting out getting cold from no one eating it, it just seemed old....as in like you find some old old tombstone pizzas in the bottom of your freezer that have been there for 5-10 years and you think what the heck....lets warm them up and see what they are like. That is what the lunch buffet was like, and the other two in my party would concur in a new york minute. Tasteless, crust like cardboard, overkill with sauce and very little cheese, lack of variety in the choices. Just plain crappy pizza. Maybe it is because it is the lunch buffet that they think they don't need to serve up good pizza, but you know better than to carry a business forward with that kind of thinking. So many restuarants go under because of poor management that do not care about the product they are putting out. Every day should be like opening day....put your best smile on and make the best, highest quality food you can...anything less will be just like everyone else. Good food that is presented well will always bring repeat business, and isn't that the goal in the food business?

I have to agree with Otto, their lunch buffet leaves a lot to be desired...My sister and I went while we were out shopping...Not only was there a lack of food on the buffet, what they had was cold and stale looking...Ordered our drinks, then watched the only server proceed to go to another table, where she spent over 20 minutes flirting with the male customers...We finished our food, and our drinks conveniently showed up...When I went up to pay, I flat out told the one "in charge" that I would not be paying for my drinks, since they didn't arrive until we were done eating...I suggested that the server could pay for them, as I was quite sure she'd earned a hefty tip from the guys at the other table...
As for the $3 delivery fee, I refuse to pay it knowing I also have to tip the driver...Their pizza simply isn't worth it, unless you're doing carry-out...

I agree that the pizza at the buffet gets dried out. But, I've never had them refuse to replreplenish, with my preference. And i wouldn't wait 20 min for drinks when the server was in the dining room.
