I knew someone who worked at Family Video; part time.
The DEMANDS on Minimum WAGE Employees were; R I D I C U L O U S ! ! !
I CHOOSE to NEVER Patronize that Video Rental establishment, AGAIN !
I am curious, what could they possibly demand at a video store that you think is ridiculous? You know. Things like showing up on time. Not playing on your phone on the job. Being mildly pleasant with customers. Tough RIDICULOUS stuff! Phuck you Family Video! Redbox all the way! Where they treat their EMPLOYEES RIGHT!

I don't think how much money a person makes has anything too do with demands.....(policy) every place has policies.

I asked two people that work there. None of what you say is or was true . There is also nothing wrong with a dress code. Most all places of employment have them or uniforms. And why can't you type in a normal fashion instead of all of this kind of stuff that is annoying as hell.

I see nothing wrong with black slacks, a white blouse, and black flats. Those are basics. Who doesn't even already own that?
Most jobs require that you complete your assigned tasks before your shift is over.
And why wouldn't an employee be expected to know their product?
These policies seem consistent with most thriving businesses.
Minimum wage jobs should demand as good a work ethic as a high paying job.

Netflix is going to kill video rental places. Think BLOCKBUSTERS..... We can both watch good films on our tv or kindle tablets. All for just $7.99/mo.

We also watch UTUBE on the blu-ray. Has most of our DVD pix, plus old tv quiz show like "What's My Line?". Most of all, we have "discovered" pix that were made long before we were born on TCM. Now that is a great channel! Plus! No commercials! Thank You, Ted Turner.!
