I have had flying squirrels eating at my feeder for a year now. I never knew it till I installed my security cameras.

It's hard to keep the good birds around once the weather changes...those Carolina Wrens can live here year around as far as I'm concerned. Pushing 65 here this week so some of my snO birds will go north...looking forward to the house Wrens coming back in May. If the weather keeps up, they will be back early this year.

I thought at first it was rats but I got close enough to see them. I had seen something going up and down on the tree in front of my house on the security cameras before. they are definitely flying squirrels.

Mothman flys too ! Actually there are flying squirrels, they don't really fly though, they more like glide in the air with their web like looking wing they spread out after jumping from a tree or power lines.
