You are right, how old fashioned of me, trust my eyes and ears spending time in the homes and streets of that country. Here all I needed to do was read some website. Sniper, Great scientific research. Spending how long in Mexico, and ascertaining how many people received the measles vaccine and how many many came down with measles. Care to share the data? This appears to be the "FOX News" method of science. Oh, and how many cases of measles did you see in Mexico? Where did you see them? g Where do you get the balls to disparage FOX News when your chosen side has derelicts and transparent liars the like of the MSNBC lineup, race-baiters all? Mr. "...thrill running up my leg" struggles to find ways to disagree with the facts about the Muslim's defunct administration, while the other show's hosts and writers simply lie.

BB, "Balls" grow on REAL MEN. I was talking about their view of "Science". They are welcome to their own opinion on politics and religion. Again you refer to MALE GENIALITY. WHY? Perhaps you should talk to your priest about your obsessions with this subject. Now, back to measles vaccines and their efficacy. g

An Illinois lawmaker has filed legislation asking the Illinois Department of Public Health to clarify state regulations on whether children must be vaccinated. Democratic Rep. Mike Zalewski's resolution follows a widely reported measles infection at a suburban Chicago day care center. The cases are among more than 100 nationwide this year. He says the department needs the opportunity to tighten criteria for why kids can opt out of vaccinations by next school year.

My question is why would you opt you're child out of their shots? unless there was a good reason of course, when I was a child I had all my shots as most children did. I believe the shots do help a lot.

I believe the shots do help a lot. Of course they help, statistics clearly show how they have helped either eliminate, or virtually eliminate these diseases. The question is does the Government have the right to compel you to take them. Clearly, the answer is no if you respect the Constitution at all.

yeah, but?
It's worked well for years, why change it?
If you want to go to public schools, get your shots.

yeah, but? It's worked well for years, why change it? If you want to go to public schools, get your shots. Should be no issue with that. If you feel strongly enough to put your kid at risk, then you should feel strongly enough to home school them as well.
