I've actually been thinking of posting a photo of an old car I owned on Craigslist in hopes of finding it to buy back. My luck it's in the junkyard crushed down to the size of a tin can. What was it? What year did you sell it as well? Lots of semi-good cars are being saved that we never would have considered saving back in the day........ When I blew one up, to the yard it went, was cheaper to just go buy another one.......... You don't want to know what iron I sent to the yard.

So, I take it that there were no carjackings on cruise night? I didn't see any fights, street brawls, stabbings, or for that matter, any drunks. How about you?

You are probably right. For grins, I believe if you still have the VIN number stored away somewhere, the state of Illinois website can give you the current registered owner, if it is still out on the road. But 1978 Firebirds really didn't start getting stupid until about 5 years ago.

I ran into quite a few Moms & Dads with the kiddos out having a great time. We struck a few conversations with car owners from out of town and out of state. All of them, I might add, were without bodyguards and didn't run for cover once the sun set.

I even called my old insurance company to see if they had it on file. No luck. Maybe I'll come across the VIN number someday.

Just a reminder, Women, lock your car doors tonight, if your out and about in this crime riddled town. One does not want to be a victim of an attempted car jacking. All the low life, vermin, n•ggers, spicks, and white trash will be preying on the helpless citizens of the area.

Hmm never noticed this problem, and I leave my keys in my cars ignition 95% of the time. I think that some people are just bitter a55es that are never happy and always try and find the worst in everything.

In regards to these cruise night carjackings. isnt it a fact the the one where the lady was dragged to her death, occurred back in Aug 1998, not on cruise night? Didnt the 2nd one occur in a part of town, not involved with the cruise night festivities? Two car jacking incidents in 20 years hardly sounds like a chronic problem to me. It is good that you warn women to be aware, but we all should be aware 24/7/365. Why do you feel the need or joy to try to bring negativity to such a great event?
