Your statement about all religions being equally ridiculous is flawed. MY religion isn't killing BUDDHISTS in the South of Thailand because they are intolerant of others. MY religion isn't killing CATHOLICS in the PHILIPPINES because they are intolerant of others. MY religion isn't killing HINDUS in INDIA because they are intolerant of others. MY religion isn't killing JEWS in ISRAEL because they are intolerant of others. MY religion didn't kill thousands of innocent people by flying into buildings in NYC, and Washington DC. MY religion didn't shoot and kill Robert F. Kennedy because they feared he would support ISRAEL. MY religion didn't shoot and kill an entire Nation's team of Athletes in the 72' Olympic games. MY religion isn't trying to claim the holocaust never took place. (How RIDICULOUS is THAT) Can you say the same for Muslims? No, in each and every case this is still true all over the World with each of the major religions and Islam. So don't even try to give me ancient history lessons about the Crusades and other tidbits of Ancient History. Even despite all of these facts, I know that not all Muslims are 'BAD', but it is best to know that facts are facts and not all religions are just as silly as the next, nor just as innocent. bigdipper, So would you care to name the "GOOD" Muslims? Is the war in the Middle East all about Religion or Politics? Oh, and aren't you happy our Founding Fathers decided to make no Religion the OFFICIAL Religion of our Great Country? g

Greek: 'Good Muslims' would have their own beliefs but respect others enough to allow them to worship as they please.(Without any kind of retribution or loss of rights) How many Christian churches in all of Saudi Arabia Greek? And yet they expect us to allow a Muslim Mosque constructed close to the Twin Towers as some sort of a testament to Muslim Victory? NOT GOOD. The Middle East is so intertwined with politics and religion it is nearly impossible to untangle one from the other. Yes, I am glad that the founding fathers did not establish an official state religion. I think it is good to recognize that they were heavily influenced by Judeo-Christian ethics, morals, and principles. One thing that kind of bothers me about Atheists/Agnostics is what exactly they use for a moral compass. If someone just kind of does whatever pleases themselves without regard for each other or society, where will we be in just a few short generations with NO 'Christian' morals being taught to young people. So far as I know, most of the major religions teach some of the same basic morals, don't lie, cheat, steal, etc. So how about it Greek? Is that really good for a society if each person has their own moral compass without any sort of guidance? bigdipper, Gee, After all, YOU get to decide if everyone in the United States has "moral values" that meet your expectations. Everyone should HAVE the same "MORAL COMPASS" YOU decide we should, correct? Are you being denied your Constitutional Rights to teach your "Christian " morals to anyone you wish? Yeah, "bigdipper", I LOVE THE U.S. CONSTITUTION and will defend it anywhere. You, sir, do not get to determine my "moral compass", nor I yours. g

Yeah, "bigdipper", I LOVE THE U.S. CONSTITUTION and will defend it anywhere. You, sir, do not get to determine my "moral compass", nor I yours. g I KNOW that Greek. I am just expressing concern about our society as we get further away from basic teaching and we shirk traditional religious values. If Atheists disregard traditional teachings what DO they use for a moral compass? Whatever suits them? Lying is OK? Killing? Taking stuff from others because you want it? If we go a few more generations and kids have no exposure to Sunday School, Vacation Bible School or any other kind of teaching, where will we be as a society? Why not try answering the question Greek? Really, how very tolerant of you. Do you as a CHRISTIAN FAMILY still have the right to send your children to Sunday School, Vacation Bible School? Of course you do! Now, I'm talking about since President Barack Hussein Obama was elected, twice. OF COURSE YOU DO! I went to Vacation Bible School in a Southern Baptist Church, my Children were baptized in a Lutheran Church, and attended Sunday School there. I also paid tuition for them to attend a Catholic Grade School. Now, my grandchildren attend a Lutheran Church and and I enjoyed watching them being baptized. Religion is about FAMILY VALUES and the parents to TEACH, and our U.S. Government, and our Constitution to protect their right to do so, don't you think? Bottom line biggdipper, how many religions have been banned since President Barack Hussein Obama (the Muslin) was elected twice? How many Christian values have been destroyed by since Madelyn Murray won her suit against Prayer in School? Oh, and how many Synagogues had been closed since President Barack Hussein Obama was elected? Not one Church or Synagogue has been closed due to the election of President Barack Hussein Obama has it? "bigdipper", teach your children and your grandchildren all the lessons you want them to learn, and whether I agree or not, is not my business. I respect your right. "bigdipper", but "DON'T TREAD ON ME"! And by not "TREADING ON ME", I mean you do not have the right to determine any FREE AMERICAN their "Moral Compass". You Got it! g

I don't think it's sinking in. The PROBLEM is some kids aren't getting any instruction from anywhere. They aren't getting it at home, school, church or extra-curricular activities As this trend continues for a few Generations, where will our Society be? bigdipper, Boy Howdy! You stumped the poor old Greek ? If, not at Home, where do you suggest? g

Greek is always telling us about hard work, then why not give that HARD working Farmer a little credit? Because the American Farmer is the last of a dying breed, not having succumbed to the nanny. That is rapidly changing though. Greek can't stand you being able to take care of yourself.

I saw a few I wouldn't mind having in my garage though. If they were orphans looking for a new home, I would surely adopt them. Oh me, too! I need a new grocery getter! lol

I've actually been thinking of posting a photo of an old car I owned on Craigslist in hopes of finding it to buy back. My luck it's in the junkyard crushed down to the size of a tin can.
