It said in the paper it is going to be a right turn in and right turn out only for the entrance. That means you can only enter if you are traveling south and exit to the south. Could be quite a few long lines to get out.

well that's just stupid that the shopping center dude won't let them have access. He should just sell out and let someone else develop that property properly. Then maybe we might have a few more stores in there. property properly property properly property properly property properly property properly property properly There is your tongue twister for the day.

Seaturtle, an egress and ingress has a price. I think Wayne owns it and why would he want that mix of traffic on his property, interfering with his tenants?

The land and former bowling lane bldg are owned and are being developed by a compny that has nothing to do w/Northpoint. "Windy" something company. Check out the paper or their web site.

I would like to see a proposed layout of this site so I can get a better handle on right turns only. Would it be possible to have a drive access at the entry street to Northpoint?

Why couldn't they secure an easement for a fixed term and a fixed amount? That would secure better traffic flow, and would grant the owners of Northpoint some money for the access. All they would need is to be able to use part of his existing road. $100/month for 20 year lease? That's $24,000 in his pocket for doing next to nothing. A going business that generates traffic would surely only help his own property as well. Win/Win Mr. Fieldman. Heaven forbid Fieldman show a courtesy to them, or the community for that matter...After all, he's still getting the lease money for K-Mart until it expires in 2016, which is why Tractor Supply hasn't showed up here yet...

Isn't there a limit on how long you can write off unrented properties on your taxes? I suppose as long as he has occasional tenants that just keeps recycling, though. It does limit traffic to the area, though. Good for residents, if not for business.
