I use nothing on my plants, except pond water. And Killer is still gone.

Those little black bugs, have caused me havoc, too. I am apparently allergic, to them, as when they bite me, I get huge welts. I have Hbirds, too. finally.

Wow Toshiko!!! Your yard sounds like a haven for entomologists. I may have to bring MrBug ( MrR.) over to take a look. We've had few bugs this year, except for the little black biting ones, even the mosquito population has been less than other years. We have noted that the cicadas have been sounding at times & temperatures that are different than we've ever observed before. Yesterday we were sitting in the yard around 1:30 & we heard cicadas & the temp was only about 72... This morning, around 9:30, we heard an oven bird outside calling. Very sweet sound:-)

Please do. I love sharing my garden. Even, after the blooms are gone, the finches, grasshoppers and praying mantis, are eating the seeds.

Your yard "sounds" lovely. During baseball season I watched it developing, I'm sure it is even better now. Maybe we'll have some free time next week & I'll drive by & look, I'll roll down the windows & listen too!! :-)

the tomatoes are not turning red anymore so its time to cut them down I guess. I have never liked fried green tomatoes.

I think Killer, has been turned into frog legs. No sign of her yet. Maybe, this week, since she left so late this year.
