I just received two society finches. Does anyone have anyone how to tell what sex they are?

both sexes chirp but only a male will sing. also females will lay eggs with or without a male in the cage.

I will soon be seeing prairie chickens running through my yard once again. according to the paper the state is re-introducing them to Illinois lol. we don't have money for teachers but we can find money to blow on a chickens. Or turtle crossings lol

Saw the heron, the other day. Killer is still not back. I am getting worried. She left late this year.
