I have had 2 hummingbird sightings so far. I have never had hummers, this early. I hope they stick around. The Golden finches are back and Killer the frog, jumped 2 feet in the air, to try and grab a robin, flying past. The robin got away. All fledglings, gone from first robin's nest.

I have had hummingbirds for the past two weeks. plenty of golden finches and house finches eating from the thistle bags I have hanging.

I have a friend who lives out past Hillcrest cemetery and he gets Baltimore Orioles. I didn't know they were in the area.

I have had one oriole, but it did not stay long. That was years back pre tornado.

On a sour note, I have had to "bury/dispose" of two fledglings that didn't make it the last few days. *sigh* I have seen a lot of robins this Spring.

I have a friend who lives out past Hillcrest cemetery and he gets Baltimore Orioles. I didn't know they were in the area. I had one earlier this year feeding out of my hummingbird feeder. they are rare in my neighborhood.

I had a pair of chickadees nest in my wren house...they were busy this spring trying to keep warm.

I will soon be seeing prairie chickens running through my yard once again. according to the paper the state is re-introducing them to Illinois lol. we don't have money for teachers but we can find money to blow on a chickens.

I've had a M/F cardinal, but don't have anything to attract any birds yet, working on the dirt/areas around the new patio & my fall "sewer" project 1st

We saw some Cardinals, but other than the robins, not too many birds. I'm going to set up my feeders next week when I get paid.
