Red bellied peckers are back, they must nest somewhere else in the summer? Maybe at Dives house? lol my feeders are filled with sparrows again.

Dive, is the presence of sparrows what you are wanting? We're not so fair in our feeding, we try to attract certain birds, & although I have appreciation of sparrows they seem to overwhelm & eliminate other kinds. I'm simply being a nose y old lady. We have most of our winter customers back. :-)

All of a sudden, I have birds hitting my big bay window. It has been going on, since the weekend. Sparrows, starlings and even a golden finch. What makes them do that? Reminds me of Hitchcock.

the dang sparrows and starlings are chasing the good birds away. I have about 8 blue jays that are beating knots on the starlings heads now though.

A couple of my feeders only allow woodpecker action since other birds beaks aren't long enough to shell the peanuts.

I have about three squirrels, but hardly any birds. Not a big surprise as I put the feeders up last Fall.

The answer is in revelations tosh, it's not a good sign. I was told, my windows must be really clean. As for Revelations, I doubt it, but if you think so, so be it. I got a new bird diary, for Christmas.
