It is sad to see so many people receiving letters terminating their health insurance coverage. What is discouraging is a president that makes an allowance to union members. Start paying attention and asking questions at negotiation times for school contracts regarding healthcare for employees. County and state employees as well. There is no need for tax increases when an employee can pay a fair share of their own health benefits.

Health benefits are considered part of the overall compensation package. You're talking about a pay cut, right? It does seem to be a trend and probably necessary due to the fact that there won't be any local or state monies allocated for what will probably be a startling increase in health care premiums.

Doesn't the Federal government borrow 40% of what they spend. And the state of Illinois is in serious financial trouble.
It seems to me that all citizens need to cough up alot more tax money to support the Socialism we are entering. I heard France pays 75% of their income to taxes. We have the new HealthCare Law, we need to pay for this.

One thing that's not been discussed in detail is how many small businesses will be affected when their 1 year delay of the mandate expires... This is EXACTLY what Obamacare was designed for, the single-payer/socialized medicine that Harry Reid bragged about in recent days...
Of course it was crammed down the throats of the America population, many are too self-absorbed to even care...Ignorance and arrogance have led to this place, but complacency will ultimately seal the deal for this debacle...
In the words of Margaret Thatcher - "The problem with Socialism is you eventually run out of other peoples money"...

From all appearances, he might get the Antoinette treatment. And let's not forget how our very own country sprang to life.

This will be the biggie, and it isn't just small businesses. In all, some 93 Million US Citizens will have their policies that they generally were happy with yanked from them like a poorly done root canal job. Too early to see just how it will all play out.

The only thing that has changed about my health insurance is that the price has gone down, the deductible has gone down and I can only see the chiropractor 25x a year.
