This company has been run by the family throughout its history. The current chairman and CEO, is the great-great-great-grandson of the founder. The firm was the first to introduce many of the characteristic features of the modern flattop, steel-strung acoustic guitar. Influential innovations include the Dreadnought body style and scalloped bracing. 500 people in Nazareth, make them. What is the Company's name?

I guess so Willy. I know my Bro went through some Gibson custom shop. Maybe it was Memphis. New production plants were opened in Memphis, Tennessee, as well as Bozeman, Montana. The Memphis facility is used for semi-hollow and custom shop instruments, while the Bozeman facility is dedicated to acoustic instruments. Look it up in Wiki. It has gone throught some drastic ownership changes over the yares. It almost went out of business once. Careful. they have also made some real quality guitars and some real dogs Bow Wow. I bought a 12 string acoustic Gibson and was a bit disappointed in it's sound and action. But! I only paid $50.00 for it. It was eventually stolen from my house. Worked out okay for me as I got a much better 12 string from Ventura.

Martin? (I think Gibson's are made in or near Nashville) Just a guess.....It's the 2 great names in American guitars. Correct. C.F. Martin & Company is a USA guitar manufacturer established in 1833 by Christian Frederick Martin. Martin is highly regarded for its steel-string guitars and is a leading manufacturer of flattop acoustics. It is a bit of a step up from my Silvertone from Sears. LOL Even though they are more or less hand made, the pros ususally will have a small craftsman build their guitars. Taylor guitar comes to mind and Mossberg guitars? that was made in Dallas for a while. Here is their Wiki link. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C._F._Martin_%26_Company

Since 1969, Willie Nelson has played one guitar, and one guitar only - a Martin N-20 (4-20?) he named Trigger after Roy Rogers' horse. "I figured," Nelson says in a feature about the guitar in Dallas Monthly, "this is my horse." The acoustic model is not only famous for the longevity of it and its owner (Nelson turned 81 on Apr. 29), but for the second gaping hole created over the years by the sheer force of Nelson's playing. It also has been autographed by many friends; some are more visible than others. The article explains how the guitar has been maintained for the last 45 years - thanks, in large part, to Austin repairman Mark Erlewine, who reconditions Trigger twice a year. About the hole, he notes, "I always thought it enhanced the sound." Trigger rarely leaves Nelson's hands

(He) WE WILL ROCK YOU! Amazing guy. I had to look it up and got really lucky! Again amazing . Some consider him #7 on all time greatest guitar player.
Brian Harold May CBE (born 19 July 1947) is an English musician, singer, songwriter and astrophysicist who achieved international fame as the lead guitarist of the rock band Queen. He uses a home-built electric guitar, called the Red Special. His compositions for the band include "We Will Rock You", "Tie Your Mother Down" and "Fat Bottomed Girls".

Here is the skinny on Willie's guitar and yes it is a classical. Designed by John Huber, the N-20 guitar was introduced to add a more European-style classic guitar to the Martin line. Martin made these “old style” N-20 guitars, which feature a 25.4-inch scale length (just like a dreadnought) and a square peghead, in 1969 and 1970. When the N-20 was first marketed it sold for $475.00.

There were 12 NFL teams before expansion. What were these 12 teams in 1959? XXX PTS to name the four that have relocated or the three that moved to the new AFC to balance out the NFL after the merger.

It was between the Rams and Cowboys. I didn't think there was any teams in California at that time either which is why I took the boys.

I think you have got them little by little. NFL teams in 1959. Just before expansion (Vikings and Cowboys) and the AFL. Eastern Conference New York Giants Cleveland Browns Relocated to become the Baltimore Ravens. Before that, They moved to the new AFC Philadelphia Eagles Pittsburgh Steelers Moved to AFC Washington Redskins Chicago Cardinals Moved to St Louis and then to AZ
Western Conference Baltimore Colts Moved to Indianapolis and moved to new AFC Chicago Bears Green Bay Packers San Francisco 49ers Detroit Lions Los Angeles Rams Moved to St Louis. (Might move back to L.A.?) Colts beat the Giants for the championship. Johnny U was league MVP Lombardi was coach of the year.

This is not a quiz. Name the best pitchers you have seen since say the 1950. Three or four come to mind for me.
