There was another line here that used a doodle bug (RDC) for passenger traffic. I read in the 1990's that it was still in use and called "The Pumpkin Line". It was removed. Who owned/operated the Pumpkin Line? It went to join the T P & W south of us. My Mom told me about riding the "doodle bug".

OLD TV SHOWS This star had to go from radio to TV. But first they had to remove some freckles. Who? I was going to take a wild stab in the dark and say Howdy Doody, but why would they have had freckles on him for Radio to begin with? So I have zero faith in that guess, but I have no idea. Correct! youtu.be/_Ii41yXdYPg

I was thinking about those milk cans on the trains and just how they are plain steel. We would never use that in today's sanitary world. Anyway, even an EMPTY milk can is sort of heavy, and even a PLASTIC 5 gallon jug of water is kind of heavy. I bet a FULL milk can would give you a pretty good work out. So how much volume (gallons) did a typical old milk can hold? 10 gallons?

Think of hauling those on or off a train that does not wait long. Make your arms longer.

He invented the electric guitar, the electric amp for it and had a TV show w/ his wife Mary Ford back in the 50's. IMHO. He was the greatest guitar player ...ever.

Every pre teen joins the Columbis Record Club. I still have a Sandy Nelson album. Yup an album of nothing but a guy playing the drums.

No. Like most irresponsible kids, we picked the albums we wanted from the start, then we forgot to choose anymore and ole Sandy Nelson was dumped on our lap. Had to go to the parents (who told us not to do this) and have them pay off Columbia Record Club.
