Lots of speculation...but that's all it is. The facts of the tragedy that are actually known, are applied in hindsight. So easy to say why this or that wasn't done, looking back at what happened. maybe some more facts will come out, maybe not. Either way, its an unbelievable tragedy that will haunt the family and friends for a long time, if not for the rest of their lives.

If she was under medical treatment for a mental illness and family was well aware or her illness, and if she was that bad......I just don't understand why family wouldn't have had "more" involvement. If she was at that breaking point, someone should have taken some kind of action at least for the kids' sake. I don't know what happened, no one ever will, but if she was in that bad of a mental state, you would think someone would have noticed and stepped in, at least to take care of the children. I don't mean for this to come across wrong......I have a family member who suffers from a "mental illness" and the correct actions were taken because she couldn't be left alone with her children....I'm just wondering if that shouldn't have been the case in this situation? Or maybe she hid things very well......who knows. Not everyone who is suffering from a mental illness is such a blatant danger to themselves that those around them recognize immediately that they need to be removed from their environment because they are a danger to themselves or others. In other words yes, sometimes people make rash decisions to harm themselves or others and no one close to them had any indications that they were going to commit some sort of a brazen act until after it happened.
