I see people are putting up Christmas trees and decoration already. Personally, I think it is to early. Do you have you decorations up or not?

To each their own. It doesn't matter to me. I like seeing them.

I picked up my tree the other day, because they cut them too early and leave them sitting out on lots everywhere. I get mine in water right away, and that's about it. I don't decorate until after the Turkey is devoured. No Christmas music either until after Thanksgiving.

Give it time and Xmas Will be banned before Obama leaves Office. Some states out west already Banned Xmas lights and decor outside And California banned merry Christmas. You can only say happy holidays in that state.

So, those that say, too early. Do you think those that put up Christmas decorations before thanksgiving, don't celebrate thanksgiving? I decorate as early as my schedule permits. But thanksgiving is NOT forgotten.

But thanksgiving is NOT forgotten. No, I dont think that people dont celebrate Thanksgiving, nor do I think they forget about Thanksgiving. For me, I think it is about keeping the holidays in order, calendar wise. I do think that starting to celebrate the Christmas season too early, diminishes the spirit of Christmas. By the time Christmas actually gets here, I am sorta burned out over it.

I will decorate the outside when the weather is good. Nothing lit up until after Thanksgiving.
