Accorded to Sniper: ( Barry was kicking Lyndon'sbuttuntil this.......[the famous daisy-picking kid ad.]
At no time was Barry kicking LBJ's B u t t. He didn't even have strong support from his own party. Only a right-winger of today would believe that Barry was not far right. He advocated "tactical" nuclear bombings in Vietnam. He voted against the Civil Rights Bill, and he thought Social Security should be voluntary. The only place he was popular was in the South.

Roman, love ya man, but even the Republican party did not strongly support Reagan, until he kicked Dem. butts in 84.
You do realize what a "Tactical" Nuke is relative to an "Area" nuke? I fail to see just how this would bother anyone who understands the nature of war, but then again, we showed them in Vietnam didn't we?
How about a little context to his vote against the 64 Civil Rights Act. He obviously was a racist, right? Pretty disingenuous to say he was anti civil rights if you knew the man and what he stood for.
Finally, we won't even start into the SS debate, you may do well with it, but ultimately, our generation is going to be the one that sees it's true nature, that of a Ponzi scheme. If only we COULD have brought it to peoples attention in 64, we might well have generations of people who could have taken care of themselves.
Ultimately, everythign Barry said came true..........

Greek, I asked for clarification of "Barrys" support for the 64 civil rights legislation, specifically why would he flip from being a strong supporter of the 57 and 60 bills, and having a LONG record of support.
I also asked if he understood what a tactical nuke was. By understanding what it is, you can understand what the proposed use was.
He clearly saw the trap laid, and avoided it. You don't seem to have the same ability, perhaps you should pick up the ball and run with it?

I see you deflected nicely though, want to debate choices possible versus choices made, specifically in the arena of Tactical Nuclear applications?

Sniper, You say "There has NEVER been a time when there were more legal reasons to Impeach." Why will it not happen? Does not the U.S. Constitution provide a method the issue. Of course it does, but we know that's not the way the "tip of the spear" wants the issue to be resolved, and time is running out. g
