The Streator Grade School Band-Aids will be hosting a Chili and Cornbread dinner on Saturday, January 24th from 4:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the P.N.A. Hall in Streator. Tickets are $10 and are available in the Northlawn JH office or at the door. The Dinner will feature Chili with many different topping choices, , homemade cornbread, dessert and water or soft drinks. A cash bar is also available. Rays Rockets Band will also be performing from 4:30 - 7:30, with dancing available. The SGS Band-Aids are a community group that was formed 1 1/2 years ago to help fund the Streator Grade School Band and Chorus programs.

If anyone would like to support the grade school band, you can donate an item for the Band-Aids to raffle off. It would be greatly appreciated!!!

Ray's Rockets were out of this world. However, highlight of the noc, was Mr. Rice, Mr. Cox, and not sure who the other 2 guys were, but man oh man, the horns were a blazing!!!! I, wish, you all would have done another set!!!! The turn out was great. A fantastic mixture of young and old. The kids, that greeted me, at the door, were some of our finest!!! Dancing, live music, chili, cornbread and desert, great company, and once again, Streator came out, to support the band.
And, congrats, to the Bulldogs, too.
