Looks Like it is going to be GREAT WEATHER for the Keeping Christmas Close to Home, and Light Up Streator events tomorrow, but bundle up, as the evening bears down on us, the sun will go down and a brisk 40 degree's is expected. Bring Your blankets to wrap up in while your watching the parade. Hot Chocolate is available at Ace Hardware, Park Place and the Hartes Buidling. Be sure to check out the Food Vendors near Heritage Park, I am sure they will have something Hot to drink also, and Great food! Lunch and dinner are also being served at Park Place and Hartes.
I hope everyone has a wonderful time and enjoys the start of our Christmas season.
Happy Holidays!

We started at Hartes, (i guess i never won the 50/50 from Project Purple Relay for Life), dropped toys at the screaming eagles toy drive on our way to park place. I got some cranberry balsam spray that i sprayed on my wreathes and trees. When i turned the lights on, it made the whole house smell like christmas. Bought many lovely things at the Harvests booth. Had some tasty goodies, too. Lol

Sounds like a great time! I wonder if any hard apple cider or egg nog will be available........ I remember going up there with a group of my friends. It was soooo brutally bitter cold that we ended up having hot chocolate with some flavored vodka at the VFW that we invented a "new" drink to many ...the Turtle. It was really good, and despite the bitter cold we did all have a great time...lol. Glad that it was such a warmer night, damp but doable, thank God. I know my lil peanut M had a great time. Thanks to the committee, and all involved for hosting this family oriented annual event. Thumbs up!!! M
