The streator bulldog football team is now 1win, 5 losses. What a pitiful showing! The school should have moved to a conference with grade school teams in it. They change conferences more often than the board asks for tax increases. That is very often, for the sheople who do not pay attention how the high school is run into the ground by the teacher's Union. Time to end the upkeep of the football program. Even the SHS so called star only had 17 yards, and seems to have given up. Cease and desist, go out with some dignity. Maybe the could play that religious school beat, only had 24 players.

When I grew up in Leonore-early 70's we had a little baseball team with just the kids around town and a couple of 20 somethings who coached and kept us together..We played some exhibition games with the grade schools in the area.bottom line is we stunk but we still had fun getting our butts kicked.. I do get your point though as sports wasn't that costly in those days....

This is the first time Streator has changed conferences in around 50 years.

cityslicker is the ONLY embarrassment here. It is a sad life, when all one can do, is badmouth, highschool kids, playing a game, and or the city in which they live. cityslikcer is part of the problem, not the solution and a troll. Go Bulldogs. Proud to be a Bulldog. Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog!!!

I agree the kids aren't to blame and should not be criticized. The record is disappointing especially after being told the reason the record was so bad was because we were the smallest team in the conference. Now we are the biggest team inn the conference and still a bad record. I'm just wondering how many games does a coach have to lose before there Is any talk of replacing him. But I guess when you've known the athletic director that long I guess it gets you a pretty long leash.

The school and the board members are the embarrassment to the community. They wrack up huge spending deficits and expect the taxpayer to bail them out. They will soon be asking for the sales tax increase again. Do it for the kids "spawn".
