Please tell me that I'm not the only one experiencing outages/issues... Their "Tech Support" leaves a lot to be desired, and never seems capable of rectifying problems on their end... They've scheduled an appointment for a Tech to come out tomorrow...Let's be serious folks, "what" do they expect a Tech to accomplish when the temp will be -15 ish?...I know that I don't expect much considering the extreme weather, but don't act like I'm crazy when I want my account credited for issues that started last week, and are getting worse...

Mine started getting pixels Friday, then channels started blacking out...Now, half of my channels are showing an error code...I reported it Saturday morning, but I know it's not just an issue for me...Sending someone out here tomorrow is down right foolish on their part, as it's not going to solve anything...

They do repairs and upgrades to the system between the hrs of 12am to 6am when people are sleeping. They have been blacking out channels for the past week during these times.

My internet slows down frequently. I see some problems with pixel on cable from time to time.

I called Mediacom and reported the channels that are out,and was advised by them to tell all of you to call them and report it so they can pin point the exact area of where it is out.
Call 1-855-633-4226 and go to tech support.
The channels I found that are out are from 24-78.
They said I am the only one that reported a outage.

When I have had problems in the past, I have gone to mediacomcable.com and went to the support forums. I found this and might be related: Author Topic: Elburn IL 60119 multi channels OUT (Read 4 times) sarasmiles Full Member *** Posts: 223 View Profile Elburn IL 60119 multi channels OUT « on: January 05, 2014, 09:53:33 AM » MOST of our channels are OUT. a couple of local networks are coming in but everything over channel 20 is frozen/looping or dead entirely. Better get these back up before the Greenbay Kickoff or I'll be MORE THAN A PITA Thanks Logged -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MediacomDrew Mediacom Social Media Relations Team Global Moderator ***** Posts: 8026 View Profile Re: Elburn IL 60119 multi channels OUT « Reply #1 on: January 05, 2014, 10:05:54 AM » Thanks, I passed this on to our outage management team for further investigation. Just to be on the safe side, I reinitialized all the digital adapters as well. You're meeting the same issues across all TVs- digital adapter or not? They have engineers working on restoring programming now, but we haven't been given an ETR at this time.

They said I am the only one that reported a outage. They said... That's awful funny because I did live chat with a rep at 8 a.m. today, and then called in around 10 a.m. when even more channels disappeared...

These people are crooks! that is a proto- call for them to say that. They are not allowed to give any info on problems, these people lie and are greedy.

I get this weak digital signal message a lot lately... I would of liked to have watched the game last night..... And calling them-usually cost me an hour of my time then they may send someone out.........
