in my opinion i think there is a tipping point where there is no return once it starts. i dont have a lot of knowledge about global warning except what i read in books on the subject. whether it has already started or not i cant not guess. the weather conditions are changing on earth and the storms are getting more severe. the reefs are dying at an alarming rate because of just a few degrees increase in water temperature. i think the people on earth are defecating in their own nest and it will come to a head in the very near future. Stephen Hawking did predicate that mankind will destroy ourselves in less then 100 years. The earth as a whole can only support so many people and the air pollution is increasing at an alarming rate. with the deforestation of the South American jungles there will be less clean air to breathe. mankind is on a path of self destruction of no return.

CNN & the tree huggers must have forgot about the ice age. The human being cannot stop the earth's natural evolution.

OK Al, now how about you and CNN explain if this is a "tipping point", why aren't we even CLOSE to the temperatures this plant has been tru on more than one cyclic swing? Hmmmmmmmmm? History, well worth revisiting.

You have to explain the 1930s? and also the ice age in the 1500s? I think this is different since the beginning of the industrialized age..What we do now does affect the climate more than when we just lived off nature like animals still do...

Again, I ask that you study the charts and explain the much higher temperatures before "Man" screwed it up with Industrialization. Unless them Cavemen had nasty Big Blocks in their flintstonemobiles.............

I don't buy it...never will. It's my opinion that it's still just about the money. What is gonna happen will happen. Man is just a small....very small part of the evolution of this planet.

It’s not unusual for humans to refuse to admit they are at fault.. I just admit it’s happening..And we are a factor... I remember waking up in the winter in the sixties to a coal haze over Streator on a cold winter morning. It’s much better today.

There's always been cyclical heat & cold, but we do have an effect, no matter how small the change.

CNN & the tree huggers must have forgot about the ice age. The human being cannot stop the earth's natural evolution. Then what is geoengineering?

And yet us that study the historical temperatures are in denial, but those that think we are screwing up the world are not?
C'mon, Climate Change is just as screwed up a religion as Catholicism..........
