OK I am looking for a nice 70's vintage alarm clock in working condition. The type I am looking for is 'digital' flip type, not the electronic display. It had like little signs, half signs that would flip over every minute. Sony's were called digimatics. Ideally looking for an old Sony clock radio in clean working condition.....Sony Digimatic Will pay decent money for the one I am seeking if it's clean and working.
Not really interested in one not working or heavily stained white one yellowed from smoke. After searching online, I saw some things about getting them to work ranging from easy to difficult fixes. I may consider non-working units too...for a modest price of course... I have seen some on Ebay, etc, just checking locally first. I am patient, sometimes the pursuit is half the fun and will alert some friends I know that frequent second hand shops.
Thanks

hey try to find the ones that dial slowly instead of flip, they're quieter if next to your head the flipping can be loud. plus a bit easier to set with ~5 second accuracy.
