I saw Ed vanko passed. Wasn't he a member of the hungry 5?? I think that Edward "Jug" Musovich was the last one of that group, and Jug died a number of years ago.

As a kid I remember being amazed watching a live band, Jug was the drummer for the Hungry 5 if I remember correctly. I don't remember the band name but I remember Guy Meredith playing a stand up bass in a band when I was a little tyke also.......

Sic transit gloria mundi. There was a time when everyone in town knew about the Hungry Five, Streator's answer to Little Wally and other polka bands of the time. The "Hungry Five" band included Ed"Jughead "Muscovich on drums, Albert Marcin on violin, Andy Simpko on bass, his brother Al on accordion, and George "Skinny " Bednar on the wash tub. Hoya, hoya.

Bud Jackson was a bass player for a band @ WIZZ. He had the Shell station across from St Mary's school. Then sold out to Tommy Bunn and moved to Branson where he could still be a bass player and ran a motel w/ his family. We used to visit them. Roman do you remember him?
