I read in the newspaper that Salvation army bought Tomasello Building. And have plans to expand their building. But Judy Booze don't know how much it will cost to expand. Good idea.

Much of it depends on the selling price of the building, which in these times would be very reasonable.
I can't fault them for looking ahead, especially since no taxpayer money is involved.

Why does the SA have to expand? The dumbacrat in charge stated Tuesday, "Better" times on the way. I presumed he was going to cut the "50* percent" of the loafers that get entitlements and quit borrowing from China. No need to expand, if one can support themselves.

The paper says they might expand their thrift shop. I never knew they even had one there. That would be a good idea. I think Streator could use a thrift shop that offers good items at a thrifty price.

Empty building being put to good use by a first rate organization to serve the Community. What's not to like? BINGO ^^^ exactly! And in speaking of which...I did happen to notice that the old Duis Electric Building has been getting some renovations. Wonder who bought that building, and what will be put in there. So that's another vacant building going to be utilized, yay! M
