This is not surprising. After all it is North Chicago, a high crime, far north suburb. When I was bargaining in Waukegan, I used to go to a great rib place in North Chicago called Hillary's. We represented the school district there for a while. It was not a very safe neighborhood, but I never worried. My client looked like a tight end. |

Well, the excuse that chevy always gives for people stealing these days because of the economy, is just that. An excuse. These thugs had decent jobs. With benefits. And jr worked for mom. He probably lived with her, too. So, 2 nice incomes in the househol, and they had no problem stealing from poor, underprivileged kids.

I think you put you're own words in that, most certainly, the economy will bring out the worst in people as the economy gets worse and that is a pretty safe assumption.
