The Majestic?
The armory?
Tractor supply store?
Homeless Shelter in (ashlinger building)?
If Save A lot will ever come back into Streator?
I'm just wonder if any words, lately being stated?

Whose words were you looking for?
The Majestic is way over-priced, in a market that can't seem to support a movie theatre. Closed and boarded up are the words that I think will continue to describe it.
Th Armory will likely be bought by the City, even though they have no real use for it and can't really afford it, but that way they will be able to control what happens to it, not that they maintain the downtown property they own.
Tractor Supply is likely waiting a couple more years for the Kmart lease to expire before they can even use the parking lot anyway. That probably also gives them a chance to see if the population here continues to decline so rapidly and if the City does outlaw one of their product lines on commercially zoned properties before making their decision.
I think the homeless shelter in that building is an old idea, someone on here said that it was bought by someone else.
I doubt that Save A Lot will be back to Streator unless things here really change for the better. Our population has only been declining since they closed, that isn't very encouraging to businesses thinking of making the investment in locating here.
