I don't mind Duck Dynasty, Or that Pawn Shop. But it also makes me wonder how much debt these people are in, that they start a reality show, hoping it would take off, so they could recover from being in debt. Reading a little bet on that Chrisoly(sp). He is in millions in debt. But at the same time I would not like having people know my busy. People are capable of checking backgrounds on others through the internet. Way too easy to dig up dirt on anyone of these people that are trying to do a reality show. Just a thought.
Or even talk shows. I've watched Dr. Phil show several times. Even that brings out a lot of personal information, that I think should not be aired. I would think that maybe people don't think about how others would think of them when their personal information goes public. Just saying.

I understand why the participants do it, after watching Kim Kardashian make millions over a sex tape and launch a career that is the selling of her, nothing else. I also understand from the producers side, of low budget.
What i dont get, is why PEOPLE WATCH? Lol

while I watch duck dynasty and swamp people I find these shows entertaining and clean shows without all the violence and cussing. as for the lots of the other reality shows people thirst for drama and to see a train wrecking looking for a place to happen. one that turned out very disgusting was the real life of the kids on the honey boo boo reality show. in that case reality wasn't even close to the true life them young girls were going through because of their moms bad choices.

Lol You hit the nail on the head Hc, low budget films are the thing now, not many good shows like there use to be, way too many self document movies out and they charge the same price at the video stores as they would a major motion picture, gggrrrrrr
