According to deadline.com , The Roxy Theater in Ottawa will be one of over 300 theaters that will be showing "The Interview". Some of the places had dates listed next to them such as Jan.2, or Dec 31 but nothing next to the Roxy so I am a$$uming they are planning to show it on Christmas Day. The Today Show was reporting that many places who plan to show it are already sold out.

Do you think this was all a publicity stunt, by Sony? I don't. Sony has taken a big hit over this. I saw a news report saying that there are signs that it was partly an inside job though, involving a ten year employee that was let go in May. It doesn't really surprise me that a company like that was targeted, with the way that they treat people.

Do you think this was all a publicity stunt, by Sony? More like a perfect example of "Never let a good crisis go to waste"

I am glad Kyle posted it, but now I also see that we can see it online, so maybe a couple of drinks and a warm glowing fire at home will be the way to go. Merry Christmas to you BB.

Great. Now all of the North Koreans in Ottawa will protest. roman, Hopefully they can hold their water when they need to relieve themselves. You wouldn't want to take your family to Theater where they see someone peeing on the street. Otherwise ticket sale would plummet if viewed by at least 70%. Wait, I do believe worse acts are viewed on the "Big Screen". And the language alone, my God! g

For another $5-6 for drinks and popcorn I can stay at home in my comfortable chair, avoid the crowds, pause the movie for bathroom breaks and have a nice evening for significantly less than it would cost to go to the movies.
