Today is the anniversary of Ron Santo's death. WGN have been playing old baseball clips of him and he was so darn funny. The one, where his headpiece caught fire had to be one of the funniest.

I was laughing, so hard. It was at 4 in the morning and I should have been sleeping, but I could not shut it off. Yes those sixty nine Cubs, were something else. I can still name most of them.

I was a WLS, daily. I tuned out, when they continued airing Rush Limpbuscuit. Now it is WGN, everyday all day. The oldies are back and it is better than ever. The gal from Princeton is back on Sat.

I just heard that, the other day. WLS was wonderful. Over Labor Day, they bring back the old DJs, that are still alive. Yes, we have WSPL, but it has gone to mostly music. Swap Shop, is like fifteen minutes and a few interviews. The rest is old music. Not that I do not like the old music, but I would prefer a local talk radio, as we had in the past. Local folks, being interviewed. Robert Anthony, used to do the book club, and have author interviews.
