How many go shopping the day after Thanksgiving? How many get really crazy and camp out at the stores starting the night before? Where do you go shopping at for this Black Friday?
I can not stop thinking of Faces of Wal Mart and what people have the nerve to wear into the stores. And weird moments in a store that you've seen?

I don't worry about that,Cause that is NOT what CHRISTMAS is about. It is about celebrating the birth of CHRIST. Not buying presents for everyone. Least I will have a but full of money saved by not falling for commercialism to get me to buy crap.

Personally i think a lot of people go for the bargains for purchases they want to make and not all are for gifts.

My favorite gifts are the ones the grands pick out themselves at those Christmas craft fairs that the schools do for them to shop on their own. I have a little travel jewelry box that plays music that my granddaughter got me because she always saw me get my jewelry out of a baggie when i went to visit. And a snowglobe that says grandma on it with a heart inside that i keep next to my bed. And a keychain that says grandma on it. Lol i could go on forever listing those little things. Gift giving doesnt have to be extravagant. Little things from the heart are the best. Its not the merchants that have made us materialistic. Its the public. Quit falling for the grass is greener, keeping up with the Jones mentality.

its not about how much you pay as much as it a gift from the heart that says I care.

I will do a couple of Black Friday deals in town, but not real early in the morning. I will do Ace and Walmart. I have done pretty well doing some of the Black Friday ads online from the comfort of my own bed.

I feel really bad for the Walmart employees since they have backed up Black Friday into Thanksgiving evening. Midnite is OK in my book. That allows everyone to have a normal Thanksgiving with their families and then go to work. Walmarts event is huge and they need ALL their employee's there. The problem is they are offering deals at what, 8:00? I resent that they have backed it up into Thanksgiving evening. I still show up for a couple of the deals though. Some of them are just irresistible sometimes. I just wish they would allow a majority of their employee's to enjoy Thanksgiving evening with their friends and families. They had guns on sale last year for 25% off.

I am watching channel 7 news. They did a quick piece on Wal Mart. Wal Mart is extending the Black Friday sales, this year. And showed where people are already being the early birds, by sitting/camping at another store.
