Was cold enough to see frost on the windows of cars this morning. Summer coming back. Temps to be in Chicago next saturday 81. Which we may see middle 80's in our area since we are further south . Trying to burn the crickets in the heating ducts. Brand new furnace all enclosed and don't know how they are getting in the ducts. Killed 10 in a week walking in the bedroom on the walls floors at night. This is probably why the dog is barking non stop at night at different hours. Now a/c is on trying to add to the cool temps to try to freeze them in their tracks ,then turning the furnace back on high to burn them up. The bug spray isn't working to kill them off in the basement.

Getting cold outside, they are coming in to warm up. Spiders coming in too. I've already had to remove a couple of wolf spiders.

Guess someone on fb has came across stores where they live spotting xmas stuff out already . What happened to Halloween and thanks giving? Guessing stores are wanting to skip them and go straight to xmas 3 1/2 months early.

Yes they are a chocolate brown, kind of furry and can get very big. They aren't really that venomous but the bite does hurt Outside you will find them living in debris around the yard, under trash cans etc. ETA: some can be gray.
