AND ... they were on Aquaduct Rd. & Livingston Co.ie ... the EPA fined them too! They don't really re-cycle, they gather, sort the junk & sell what they can, including metals, pallets etc. They also pick up electronis, ie computers, PCs etc & don't "Properly" dispose of many bad parts of them!

Didn't they also have a "store" by Don's Furniture awhile back? I know she was a part of it, but I don't know if he was or not.

Check with the people living in that area. I thought I read in the paper about this that the people in that area were opposed of this idea in their backyards. That maybe the reason for denial. There was 2 neigbors complaining about it. one lives out by the road who can't see whats going on down in there, and then one up on the hill. which can only see the driveway. There were actually a LOT more people that were opposed to this "business start-up". There were many folks that contacted the city and their councilmen by email and phone opposing the "business". And, yes, these are the same people that had recycling (if that is what they want to call it) on E. Main St. And E. Livingston Rd. A BIG thanks to the council and the Plan Commission for listening to what the taxpayers opinion was on not allowing them to use the property for this purpose. The EPA was also contacted to check for run-off from debris into the creek. The city will have to continue to check on them, though, as rumor has it that they are still in operation even though they were told they couldn't conduct their business.

Does that have anything to do with removing the road/drive into the place on Bloomington St.? I noticed they took it out and dug a ditch/barricaded the old road. I thought that was technically a City Street. No
