Cookbooks. That's pretty much what I've been reading lately. I haven't even had time to read the magazine subscriptions I have. I usually stockpile them in the RV to read all at once on a lazy weekend. I'm faithful to This Old House magazine and Midwest Living. I'm of no help! lol Unless you want some back issues of those.

George Orwell. Richard Dawkins. Patrick O'Brian. Tim Dorsey. Too many more to list. O'Brian if you really want to spend the time.

Steve King has been my fav. for years. For Mysteries, I am into Walter Mosley, John Sanford For history, Shelby Foote , Doris Goodwin and David McCullough. I did read most of the Harry Potter books back when they first came out. I bought some Dashell Hammit and Raymod Chandler books. (Maltese Falcon and The Big Sleep were great.)

I read anything. I love getting lost in a book. I always feel sad when I'm finished with a book. Like I'm saying goodbye to characters that I've come to know, and will miss. Lol

Kindle has some good specials. If not free, then sometimes as low as .99. I have not paid 10 bucks for a book in a long time. Now I got to quit buying and get to reading them. I like the e-books as they don't take up any space. I have a room full of old books from TX in my basement just taking up space now. Mom, my daughter and myself have always been readers. We always have had some book to read.

I have been disappointed in our library's collection. Two historical trilogies only have one book! I pretty much quit going there when I got a Kindle. Gaaa I am leaving here today. Too many tech problms.

Country of The Pointed Firs- Sarah Jewett I've read this book a few times, & always find a reality I missed the other times I've read it. I've actually lost count of how many I've bought, as it makes a great gift book.
