I saw my son-in-law mowing his yard this morning. I was going to wait for the grass to dry up so my platform won't get full of green goo when I cut the yards. Then the sky got dark........and the thunder boomers came to town. My battery did NOT pass the test today,so if we lost the juice, I'll be in the dark.

Ok, those barricades at the underpass are there for a reason people. Yet some dumb driver kept driving and started to go around those barricades at the same speed until they saw the high standing water over the roadway ,then stopped quickly.
Commonsense ,heavy rain =flooding especially underpasses..

Maybe the city needs to put barricades up at bazore and shabbona st with a sign saying underpass closed due to flooding.Alittle advanced warning so people like this driver doesn't fly up on it and has to stop quickly.

There isn't 8" of water, we just went thru, never even got my brakes wet. Commonsense = knowing what YOUR vehicle will do.

Let her imply. I really do not think any one really cares if a person has one thread name or has more. Everyone that post has the right to their opinion. And people will have disagreements on here also just because of difference in opinions which is fine also. But in reality who cares if someone has one thread name or many thread names.
But to get back on the thread name, how much rain did we receive today? Did the rain effect anyones basement today?
