SCATTERED SLOW MOVING STORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS PARTS OF CENTRAL ILLINOIS INTO NORTHWEST INDIANA. THESE STORMS ARE IN AN ATMOSPHERE THAT FAVORS ROTATION...ALTHOUGH MAINLY TEMPORARY AND WEAK ROTATION. ONE BRIEF TORNADO WAS REPORTED NEAR EL PASO ILLINOIS AROUND 2 PM WITH THESE STORMS. ADDITIONAL FUNNELS...AND BRIEF TORNADO TOUCHDOWNS...ARE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON WITH THESE STORMS. THESE STORMS SHOULD PERSIST THROUGH 5 PM OR SO BEFORE SLOWLY MOVING SOUTHWARD. we heard some thunder a few nights ago too about 11 PM, but nothing ?
I think the tempered weather we've had for years is here to stay
we got some cold this year, but no big accumulations of snO ?

some places like Ottawa got plenty of rain. some streets were flooded near the downtown park earlier.
