FUNNEL CLOUDS POSSIBLE TODAY... ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF FUNNEL CLOUDS TODAY... SOMETIMES CALLED COLD AIR FUNNELS. THESE FUNNEL CLOUDS NORMALLY PROTRUDE A FEW HUNDRED FEET DOWNWARD FROM THE PARENT CLOUD... ROTATE OR SPIN LIKE A TOP... AND LAST A FEW MINUTES BEFORE DISSIPATING. THESE FUNNEL CLOUDS RARELY TOUCH THE GROUND AND TYPICALLY DO NOT POSE ANY SORT OF HAZARD. THE ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS THESE FUNNELS ARE DEVELOPING IN DO NOT SUPPORT STRONG... DAMAGING TORNADOES. HOWEVER... ON EXTREMELY RARE OCCASIONS THESE FUNNELS CAN BRIEFLY TOUCH THE GROUND AND PRODUCE VERY MINIMAL... IF ANY DAMAGE. IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES... MOVE INDOORS TO A PLACE OF SAFETY. THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILL CONTINUE TO CLOSELY MONITOR THE SITUATION. PLEASE FORWARD REPORTS OF FUNNEL SIGHTINGS TO THE NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY FOR RELAY TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE.www.weather.com/weather/alerts/localalerts/61364?phenomena=TSL&significance=S&areaid=ILZ019&office=KLOT&etn=0000

I had to turn the heat up again last night! So done with this. At least we didn't get snow down here.
