it`s hard to fathom how this could happen with all of our technology and safety procedures in place. who ever disabled the GPS units had a lot of knowledge concerning flying an airliner. this is a big mystery and confounding the experts.

IMHO, it's one of two things - 1. The plane was purposely destroyed by a government for reasons unknown... 2. The plane was hijacked for future use as a conveyance for a WMD...
I'm leaning more towards the latter, as the information we are being told leads one to consider that theory...However, if the plane was purposely destroyed we may never know...No government would want to take responsibility for the mass murder of 239 people...

I have a cell phone that can track my car and tell me that I need to turn left in 200feet to reach my destination yet a huge airplane is totally lost?

they don't have the cell, radar, and other coverage's like we have in this part of the world...probably a good place to lose track of a plane

LOL, the Technology is one thing that made it possible........ They can remotely fly most of them now, it could have as easily been hijacked from miles away as from the cockpit. Russia just took one of our drones the same way.

I seen where one of our drones was taken by the Russians. that's almost as bad as when the US said we had jet fighters that were invisible to radar yet one was shot down with a grenade launcher from the ground.

The worst case scenario is it has landed and the plane will be used for an attack somewhere.

On a serious note.......magnetic pull, all that is lost is at the bottom of the water, they never could go down that far to search.

Why couldn't they search the bottom of the Indian Ocean? The marianis trench, which is the deepest spot on earth, has been explored.

I think we can chalk this up to one or two villains,Dr. Evil who is a fictitious person so probably doesn't count-or OBL who has been declared dead twice now......If nothing else it shows his network is still working well .. Third possibility and probably most likely involves pilot being a nut job ..

the news now is reporting that the pilots wife had moved out of their home the day before and took the kids. might be a suicide they are reporting now.
