The only information I can find is August 9th - Streator's "In the Good Old Summertime" Concert Series continues with a performance by Jim Gibson with the Greenbriar Mountain Band from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Plumb Pavilion in the City Park. Hopefully, they'll have a listing soon.
It would be great to have a variety of acts there. A lot of talented and successful people have roots in Streator.

Wouldn't be cool if they could reach out to former Streator residents who are in bands now. It wouldn't, why not? Why have such a pessimistic attitude? You were the one telling me to look for the positives and work with others not too long ago. Come on sing along "Everything is awesome, everything is cool when you're part of a team", or did you not go see the witty entertaining film that reviewers loved, at least just to support the Majestic? I doubt it could have just be an error on your part, after what you said to jude, could it? You really should try to not be so negative.

How about a battle of the bands competition some Saturday afternoon??

How about a battle of the bands competition some Saturday afternoon?? I believe there is a good gospel singer from Streator. After I did a lot of work to be able to raise the screen to use the stage for live shows when we were really struggling to get enough people for movies at the Majestic, the battle of the bands was financially one of our better events. You might want to have something like that go into the evening t hough, do you think you could maybe take a nap that day?

sigh. Getting tiresome Kyle.
ANYWAY, I love the look of our city park, it's looking so so nice. The pavilion is a great asset. I never made it down to any of the concerts last summer. Darn.

It is beautiful over there. I snapped this picture of the beautiful view you'll get when you look over your shoulder, oldtimer
or you would probably rather look at this: I won't ignore it. I happen to see your building, from several different locations, over the last week or so. And I love it. As, I glanced over from a stop sign, it made me smile. Each and everytime.

Seriously? Why can't we have this be a positive thread about the upcoming musical acts at the Plumb Pavilion?
