Down here the trucks and busses open the holes beyond belief. When there's water on the roads you can't see them until it's too late?

If you have to get to I-80 East you should probably take county roads as much as possible towards Seneca. They are much better since they did re-sealing in the Fall.

Mom went to Ottawa yesterday. Roads were not slick, but you are right about the potholes.....and yes that applies to my own street. This freezing weather has messed up most of the roads. I read where they were closing down lane of I-80 to fix the potholes.

When I first got my license Rt. 23 was really terrible, beyond belief.(Around 77') It was narrow, and nothing but potholes. When they rerouted the bridge out South here, the construction guys said holes went clear through the bridge. Many places had a pretty steep drop to the shoulder as well, not good on a narrow rough road. I grew up in that area. Saw a lot of accidents at or near that old bridge. It was nasty.

Don't know MM. At the time, I lived in the subdivision across from the K of C Hall (When it was a corn field). My Pop, (God bless him) and I were super siren chasers!
